What is stone paper and how is it produced?
Stone paper is produced from calcium carbonate, which has different names, including marble paper, stone paper, mineral paper, and limestone paper. It should be noted that stone paper is produced from stone powder and waste from stone factories and from stone mines without using water and acid.
To make stone paper, you must first prepare a production line and machinery and equipment to be able to produce limestone paper correctly and efficiently. Then calcium carbonate should be extracted from limestone and converted into calcium carbonate powder. In the next step, this powder is combined with polyethylene, which is compatible with the environment, and a small additional percentage, so that finally, stone paper is produced from the resulting granule.
Rock paper impermeability
Rock paper is infinitely recyclable, made from calcium carbonate construction waste. This process eliminates the use of water in production.
Frictionless writing
Stone paper is softer than anything you’ve ever written on.
Waterproof
Stone paper is completely waterproof and with its unique chemical structure is resistant to water.
60% less carbon
A sheet of traditional A5 paper uses about 2.5 gallons of water.
